When you use any Teachmatic-powered platform (hereinafter "the Platform"), you are interacting with software built and maintained by Kare Logix (Private) Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
1. What Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you register on a Teachmatic-powered platform, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (if provided)
- Password (stored as a bcrypt hash — never in plain text)
1.2 Payment Information
If you purchase a course, bundle, or subscription:
- Transaction reference numbers
- Bank transfer receipts (for manual payment verification)
- Payment status and order history
Note: Teachmatic does not store raw card numbers or banking credentials. Payment data is processed through the platform's configured payment gateway and/or manual bank transfer verification flow.
1.3 Usage Data
- Pages visited, courses accessed, and content viewed
- Device type, browser, IP address, and approximate location
- Session duration and login history (for device-tracking security features)

- Profile photos
- Files or documents submitted as part of coursework (where applicable)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Provide the Service — Authenticate your account, deliver purchased courses, and manage your subscriptions.
- Process Payments — Verify bank transfers and issue order confirmations.
- Security — Detect unauthorized access, enforce device limits, and protect your account.
- Communication — Send transactional emails (order confirmations, email verification, password resets).
- Platform Improvement — Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve features.
- Legal Compliance — Meet obligations under applicable Pakistani law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on servers/cloud infrastructure selected and configured by Kare Logix (Private) Limited.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a strong salt factor.
- Video content is served via signed, time-limited URLs to prevent unauthorized sharing.
- We apply industry-standard TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel only.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
The Platform uses:
- Session cookies — to keep you logged in securely.
- Preference storage — to remember UI settings (theme, language).
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
5. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with the following types of third-party services:
- Cloud storage providers (for video and file hosting)
- Email delivery services (for transactional emails)
- Payment gateways (configured per deployment)
- CDN / video proxy services (Cloudflare Workers)

8. Children's Privacy
Teachmatic-powered platforms are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
